Application:
-
contact your sponsoring agency to request airport access.
This would be your employer, airport tenant, FBO, contractor.

Copies of the application are available in
the airport’s office, or from your employer or sponsor, or
download from this site
(download the security application).
-
Complete “ALL” information on the ID
badge application form.
·
Applications must be signed by authorized sponsor
/ employer.
·
Incomplete applications will not be
processed.
·
Document employment: 5-years for General
Aviation; 10-years for SIDA.
·
Applicants must submit two forms of
identification, as detailed below:
·
Drivers (or State Identification), plus one
of the following:
·
Social Security Card
·
Passport (unexpired or expired)
·
Original or certified copy of birth certificate (with seal)
·
U.S. Citizen ID Card (I-97)
·
Resident Citizen ID Card (I-179)
2.
Security Threat Assessment / Fingerprinting:
Submit application to the airport badging office as soon as possible.
·
This information is required to submit your name
for a Security Threat Assessment (STA). Takes at least
72 hours. Badges not issued without this clearance.
·
SIDA applicants: If our airport is collecting
your fingerprints, the application must be submitted at that
time.
·
Fingerprints: By appointment only.

Badges not issued without cleared fingerprints
and/or STA.
· Airline
personnel will have fingerprint results sent directly to your
company. Airlines are required to provide
the airport with the cleared fingerprint report (either FBI report,
or on your company letterhead with name,
case number and signed by authorized personnel.)
3. Training
Process:
All applicants must attend the Airport Security &
Safety Training session.
Classes are held each Tuesday as follows (unless
otherwise noted):

General Aviation - Air Operations Area (AOA) Ramp
Access:
1:00 p.m. (general aviation ramp)
·
Security Identification Display Area (SIDA)
Access:
3:00 p.m. (terminal and cargo ramp area)
·
All SIDA applicants must submit to a criminal
history records check and cleared the fingerprinting
process prior to attending training.
·
Classes are closed 5 minutes after the scheduled
time - please be prompt.
4.
Renewal Process:
·
Badgeholders must renew ID badges prior to
expiration.
·
Badges expire on the 30th of each
month (except February).
·
Badges expired beyond 30 days are not eligible
for reissuance and will be terminated.
Reapplication is required to reinstate (including new
application & training).
·
Renewals are on the 2nd and 4th
Thursdays
Morning Session: 9:00 -11:00 a.m.
Afternoon Session: 2:00 -4:00 p.m.

All
information submitted to the Airport Badging Office is kept
confidential and shared only with authorizing federal
