To Seek Approval to Impose and Use a
Passenger Facility Charge (PFC)

March 25, 2008

The Lafayette Airport Commission hereby announces its intent to seek approval to impose and use a Passenger Facility Charge (PFC) application for the following projects:

• Precision Approach Path Indicators (PAPI):  PFC revenue will be used to accomplish necessary airfield upgrades for enhanced safety and operational effectiveness at Lafayette Regional Airport.  This project will connect the Precision Approach Path Indicators (PAPI) at each end of each runway for operation on the generator.  (click to read entire document)
   

• Security Enhancements:   PFC revenue will be used to reimburse costs associated with upgrading the Lafayette Regional Airport Security System including the acquisition of cutting edge identity management solutions which integrates newer technology to be deployed at the most sensitive and secured areas of the airport.   (click to read entire document)
